 Islam is the eternal message of Allah to all people without any exception. It emanated from our father Adam (peace be upon him) and then was passed on to other chosen messengers reaching its completed word to mankind with the final prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Linguistically, Islam means the deliberate “submission and surrendering” to the Almighty’s commands. Practically, Islam as a religion is based on six basic concepts of faith and five fundamental pillars without which one’s belief is not accepted. The six beliefs are:

 Prayers are of such great significance that it is considerede as the second pillar of Islam.
This makes the image very clear: Islaam is like a building supported by five columns; remove just one column and the entire building weakens. In the same way, when a person stops praying, his faith becomes weak, and the mildest blows can cause it to crumble. The prayer is so very important that the Prophet said: "Verily, between man and polytheism and disbelief is abandoning prayer." (Narrated by Muslim).

 Believing in the divine decree (Al -Qadar), whether good or bad, is one of the most important pillars in Islam. This belief is based on four levels:
Knowledge: the belief that Allah’s knowledge is comprehensive and eternal in that it is neither subject to new acquisition nor forgetfulness. Indeed, Allah knows everything; what happened, what happens, what will happen as well as the way it will occur.

 All the messengers of Allah while conveying His message faced many difficulties especially among their communities. Indeed, people expressed their skepticism, hesitation, and refusal as far as any new message was concerned. In order to make them believe in the revelation in a more concrete and sound way, Allah backed His messengers with miraculous and challenging instances. Each miracle was in congruence with the intellectual, cultural, social, and scientific aspects of the environment they stemmed from.
